International payment and shipping charges 

VAT taxes and import duties:
International Buyers are responsible for taxes or custom duties, if any. This is an increasing issue. Several countries are adding VAT plus a substantial handling fee to be collected from the buyer before delivery. This is very common in the UK, but we also have reports of such charges from France, the Netherlands, and Canada. There may be other countries doing so as well. We regret that there is nothing we can do to influence this, nor provide specifics of the charges. In the UK, for example, this seems to be 20% VAT plus 8 GBP handling fee; this amounts to almost $50 added to the price of a cordmaker.

If customs regulations require additional licenses from us, we may cancel shipments and refund your payment.  

Payment: We accept credit cards and other payment forms ONLY via PayPal. See www.paypal.com

Shipping: We gladly ship outside the USA. Please note that our PayPal "Shopping Cart" system charges based on weight and shipping destination:

Gripfids: 

Normally sent via First Class Mail International, but may be sent by Priority Mail depending on cost and destination. 

Cotton Cords: 

Normally sent via First Class Mail International, but may be sent by Priority Mail depending on cost and destination.

Books: 

Normally sent via First Class Mail International, but may be sent by Priority Mail depending on cost and destination.

Cordmakers: 

Cordmakers are sent by "International Priority Mail". 

Mixed orders: 

We try to minimize cost when more than one product is shipped. A PayPal shopping cart calculates shipping charges by weight.  If the shopping cart system overcharges shipping and handling, a refund may be issued.

Lost/Missing shipments: 

International Buyers  assume all risks in case of lost packages. 

Large orders and wholesale:

The above policies apply to retail orders up to $300.  Please contact us via e-mail before placing larger orders.
