This
class is designed to be an open studio class and to encourage participants to
expand their weaving horizons. Each weaver will come to the class with a
personal challenge in mind. This could be using a new kind of yarn or finer
yarn, or a new weave structure, becoming more confident in the warping/weaving
process, or something as basic as improving your selvages, or preparing and
weaving a longer warp. The week will be spent planning and weaving a project, as
well as being inspired by what others in the class are weaving. Each person will
go home with a notebook that will include the weaving instructions for all the
projects woven in class.
